Shrimp dinners are pretty common in my house. They’re easy to buy frozen and pull out for a quick thaw and they cook so quickly, it’s a no-brainer on those rushed evenings after work. The work/life balance, yo. Shrimp is also a really great source of lean protein, meaning you can eat a ton for very little calories and be very very full when you’re finished. It’s amazing served hot or cold, in soups or on salads, pastas and rice dishes. It’s truly a versatile meat. Just how exactly should you be preparing your shrimp for a hearty, delicious seafood dinner you can conquer in under 30 minutes? Let’s look at some of the best ways to get your shrimpy-shramps on the table in no time (well, some time is required…but it’s a small amount and worth it!).

1. Teriyaki Shrimp

Such a ridiculously easy recipe using some pretty basic ingredients that most will already have at home in the fridge and pantry. You can serve this with rice and it makes for some great leftovers too should you decide to make a big batch of them!

2. Blackened Shrimp Pasta

Make pasta night just so much more gourmet at home, by making this amazing blackened shrimp pasta. In only 10 minutes of prep, and 20 minutes of cook time you have one incredible dinner to serve.

3. Instant Pot Shrimp Paella

Okay, so it’s amazing to have a 30 minutes or less dinner recipe on hand, but…what if there was a 5 minute one? Hello, pressure cookers (I love you). 10 minutes of light prep, 5 minutes of cook time. DONE.

4. Shrimp & Cauliflower “Grits”

Depending on where you live, this is either a really common dinner option, or something you’ve never heard of before. If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for ways to make a recipe just a little healthier, and this one does all that work for you. This is a shrimp & grits without the grains, making it Keto, Whole30, Paleo by mimicking grits with cauliflower. The recipe takes only 15 minutes and only 5 ingredients (seriously, just 5!).

5. Crab & Shrimp Soup

With some little cheaters in this recipe (ahem, canned soup) and combined with some seafood-enhancing ingredients that makes a warm seafood dinner that is so full of flavor.

6. One Pan Shrimp & Asparagus

We made this recipe for Forkly videos a few months back, and since then…I cannot stop making it! It’s just soooo freaking easy and delicious. It’s an addictive quality in a recipe to be that fast and that amazing. Don’t miss out. It’s a game-changer.

7. Buffalo Shrimp Salad

I gotta be honest with you, I’m a huge fan of buffalo wing sauce and cook with it often. Yet, I have never considered using it with shrimp, until now. On a salad? This is unreal! Made it just 10 minutes. We can do that!

8. Easy Grilled Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Shrimp on the barbie! Most definitely one of the quickest ways to cook shrimp, but also the most flavorful. That extra char on the edges can really make a difference with something as light in taste as shrimp. Lemon/garlic is most definitely my personal favorite shrimp flavor pairing, so for a total of 20 minutes to make these babies, you better believe they’ll be a staple this summer.

9. Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Bang bang shrimp is a common restaurant favorite appetizer these days. That spicy tangy flavor paired with a creamy pasta just makes so. much. sense. Just 20 minutes for this scrumptious meal!

10. Shrimp Rolls

Much like a lobster roll (but way cheaper, and easier to make) you can have an at-home shrimp roll in a lemon herb mayo. Complete, in under 20 minutes. Served up on a hot dog bun, and sided how ever you like (shown here with chips) this is a great casual shrimp dinner, that you absolutely must try.
