Dunkin’ is renowned for its coffee, tea, and delicious donuts but now the chain is entering a new drink category by offering new bubble tea at select locations this summer! If you’re unfamiliar with bubble tea it’s essentially a tea-based beverage that is blended with milk or fruit juices. The drink is then filled with soft tapioca pearls (also known as boba or popping bubbles). The drink was invented in Taiwan in the ’80s and is now incredibly popular across the world.
Dunkin’s take on this tasty beverage is called Popping Bubble Ice Tea. It features a classic iced green tea and delicious strawberry popping bubbles and is being tested in select locations in Massachusetts. But that’s not all, according to MassLive, select locations will also be testing out Bubble Iced Coffee and Tea, Dunkin’ Refreshers, Sparkling Dunkin’ Refreshers, Summer Shandies, and Layered Iced Tea. These tasty beverages made their grand debut on July 1, 2020, and will be available through August 18. You can try these delicious offerings in five locations in Massachusetts including one in Haydenville, one in Northampton, and three in Westfield.
